This is a very good mantra bhajan. Mantra Bhajans have a mantra which is sung repeatedly along with the music. Thus creating a divine aura and vibrations all around and within the singers and the listeners. Thus it serves the satsang or kirtan and the chanting of the divine mantra.

Vasudev is one of the name of Lord Krishna. This mantra is often chanted and sung in devotion to Lord Krishna. The sacred and holy script Srimad Bhaagwat Geeta starts with this mantra.
